GULF OF MEXICO: This incredible picture Golden rays migrating in the Gulf of Mexico was taken by amateur photographer Sandra Critelli, in July 2007. Sandra Critelli, an Italian living in New Jersey was on a whale shark snorkeling expedition in the Gulf of Mexico when she noticed a group of migrating golden rays on their migration. Having gone over to the group they discovered that there were in fact thousands of them.
